Is My Door Right Or Left Handed?
To designate whether you need a right-handed or left-handed interior door, stand in front of the door and locate where the hinges are visible. If the hinges are visible on your right, it is a left-handed door. Conversely, if the hinges are visible on your left, it is a right-handed door.
You may also put your back against the hinged side of the door; if you imagine your arm as the door and it swings to the right, it is a right-handed door, and the same would go for your left arm being a left-handed door.
